COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is a state of the art diagnostic imaging review of the most important and common topics of presentation in the Emergency Department. Four nationally and internationally recognized faculty members will provide lecture material in the areas of neuroradiology, thoracic/abdominal/pelvic body imaging, musculoskeletal radiology and pediatric radiology.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this course the participant should be able to:
• Recognize and diagnose diseases and trauma most commonly encountered in the emergency setting.
• Utilize imaging techniques to solve diagnostic problems in the Emergency Department.
Intergrate course information into their practice and to improve their diagnose imaging skills.

This program is targeted to Radiologists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Physicians-in-training and any other Physicians involved in using diagnostic imaging to guide patient management in the acute or emergent setting.
